In this Vintage Makeup Lesson, you will learn glamorous retro makeup ideas to help you switch up your look, and incorporate them into, not just your party looks, but also your everyday makeup!
We can sometimes consider vintage makeup to be just for costume parties and formal events. But, it’s also an easy & fun way to make sure you stand out in your everyday life, particularly if your personal style is quite retro/ vintage.
For example, one of my lovely brides, Louise, has a personal style that’s vintage but with a modern twist. And for her wedding day, to complement her stunning white two piece satin wedding gown, we chose a feline eyeliner that was very much Louise’s signature look, emphasised with some false lashes. Then to complete her vintage look, we went with the classic vintage Mac Cosmetic’s Ruby Woo lipstick for the lips. All very elegantly classic & timeless old Hollywood glamour, but with a modern Louise twist!

When we think vintage, we think of the classic & very iconic 1950s Marilyn Monroe makeup look of winged eyeliner & red lips. But vintage makeup inspiration can be taken from any era, such as the roaring ‘20s, right through to the ‘80s or even ‘90s!
And, you can put your own modern twist on a classic vintage look of your choice.
